I am really serious about this - shifting to a Social Science course. On the next few days I'll deliberate (with myself again) on what I perceive to be the best course for me.
After talking to the program directors and reading on these I realize that my three choices are indeed, top contenders on their own. (What I am wishing for right now and the next few weeks to come is that for me not to experience again the same mental and emotional torment I underwent when I was trying to pick between staying in Comtech and shifting to a SOSS course.)
Just so to start this early, I am going to lay down my primary standards:
(FACT: I don't want to take a double major, there's got to be one only. Hassle much?)
* Will provide me with the profound theoretical framework of Political Science and Economics
* Will provide me the applications of these two disciplines in our Philippine and global setting
* Will provide me with a solid foundation for Journalism
* Will provide me with a fallback job lest I failed in Journ
So here we go:
AB DEVELOPMENT STUDIES
AB ECONOMICS (OR ECO-H)
AB POLITICAL SCIENCE
I am intending to work with the necessary documents on shifting after Christmas break. Although this may be impeded by my parents who still have not given me the official go signal a.k.a. "Go anak, may God bless you with your plans" with a wide smile on their faces. :D
